On Sunday 7th November 1999 I was back in the CRIT ROOM at FCH to see my friends, the PART TIME PUNKS go through another rehearsal.
The first thing we all did on this afternoon was review the recording of four tracks they had put down a few weeks earlier, then it was into rehearsal proper.
As well as doing the tracks I had heard before they also performed two new songs, YOU CAN'T PUT YOUR ARMS AROUND A MEMORY which was originally performed by JOHNNY THUNDERS, and HANGING ON THE TELEPHONE originally performed by BLONDIE.
My overall impression of the band is that because they have speeded up many of the tracks, they are going from strength to strength.
With me having gone to this rehearsal I have heard the whole of their 32 song repertoire.
